Members have the right to attend the annual general meeting (and any other general meeting) and have important powers under the articles of association; in particular, the members elect people to serve as Trustees and take decisions in relation to changes to the articles themselves.

Membership shall be open to any individual aged 16 or over who has attended community garden sessions, learning programmes, events, volunteered with the charity or otherwise expressed their interest in supporting the organisation, its aims and objectives.

Any person who wishes to become a Member must sign, and lodge with the company, a written application for membership (below). The Trustees shall consider each application for membership at the first Trustees meeting which is held after receipt of the application; the Trustees shall, within a reasonable time after the meeting, notify the applicant of their decision on the application. The Trustees may, at their discretion, refuse to admit any person to membership.
