Who or what is TES?
Transition Edinburgh South (TES) is a voluntary association, run by volunteers for the benefit of the community. TES aims to inspire and facilitate people and communities to lower their carbon footprint and increase their resilience and sustainability to the challenges of Climate Change and resource constraint in a creative way.
We are here to enable and support ideas about how to make our community more fit for the future. If you have an idea, come along and get it started, or volunteer with us whether you have lots of time or a little, you can help make a difference. We are a place for ideas to grow into action.
There are as many ways and reasons to take part as there are people in your community. You can join us for social events or attend a workshop or lecture. You can become a volunteer on a specific projects or just help out when needed or whenever suits your schedule. Or if you’re still interested in climate change, but we don’t have what you’re looking for, we can help you start up your own group or project through our network. Whichever way you choose, you’ll be making connections with the greater community and really feel a part of something exciting and useful.
