TES is about Transition for all

A community is made up of wealth of different backgrounds and perspectives and the same is true at Transition Edinburgh South.  If you live in South Edinburgh and you have a growing concern about climate change, want to know what you can do or have an interest in the Transition movement, we want to hear from you.

There are many ways to get involved and hopefully something to suit everyone’s interest, knowledge and expertise.  You don’t have to be an activist, environmental specialist or academia to get involved and contribute.    

Working within a community gives you an idea of just how many people share your interests and concerns. People find that coming together and working as a group is both motivating and empowering.

We understand the juggling act that is modern life, too and what time TES volunteers and members invest in projects is as diverse as they are.  We are happy to have you on board with as much or as little time you have to spare.  TES is an opportunity to work together in a meaningful way where every little bit helps.
