Over 10 millions pounds have been given to the new Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund (CCF2) to support low carbon community projects.  Over 140 existing projects have reapplied for funding, including TES, and over 250 new community groups have applied for funding for the first time.  At TES, we hope new funding will allow us to continue with the activities that have been initiated or supported by our two funded projects.  We will know by mid-March whether we have been successful in securing further funding.

OK - so you want to install some renewable technology because you're worried about climate change or peak oil and gas and you want to do your bit.

So, which technology do you choose?

Well first let's suspend practicalities and assume that you have a nice south facing roof with no shading for solar photovoltaics or solar thermal and you also have space to fit an air source heat pump.
