Elderflower Harvest at the Community Garden
Shandon Local Food Group will open the garden Tuesday 22nd June from 1800-2000 for an elderflower harvest! Join us at the Myreside Road entrance. We will have a camp stove to make cordial on-site to have a taste. Don't forget to bring a bag to take flowers home.

TES General Meeting - Showing the film "The 11th Hour"
Hi all,
It is time again for a TES General meeting.
The meeting will be a get-together for the whole of the organisation (and friends of the organsation) where we can have a discussion about what has been happening in TES and where we want to go in the future. There will be time for idea sharing, brainstorming, feedback from each of the working groups, and of course celebration!
If you are new to TES and are interested in gettting involved, this is a great time to come along and meet the rest of the community and learn how!

I just thought I'd write a short blog about a restaurant I went to during Fairtrade Fourtnight.
Pickled Green opened up on Rose Street several months ago. It's owned by two young fellas. One from Bonnie Scotland and one from Belgium. A quite unlikely combination involving two young, cool, enthusiastic, yet eco-conscious boys; and a vison to provide good, seasonal, simple food, sourced as locally as possible, organic when avaialble and in a friendly, non-pretentious manner.
