This is a fortnightly meeting for the SOSO project team which includes SOSO  stage 2 and 3. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings and is an opportunity to become involved and contribute to the SOSO projects. please have a look at  the TES site to catch up on what has been going on in the two projects. Motivational interviewing training for Switched on to Swiching off Project

Training for the second stage of the Switched on to Swtching off project, to take place at St Leonard's Land, Room G4, Holyrood Road. Volunteers for the project will receive free training and a training manual in motivational interviewing for sustainability.

Volunteers welcome party 'Switched on to Switching off project'

Welcome party for volunteers for the stage 2 project 'Switched on to Switching off' 31 Woodburn Terrace EH10 4SS, buses 11, 15,16,17, 23, 38, 41. Come to eat, drink and find out about our project.

Volunteers will conduct door to door interviews, help with community events and receive free training in energy efficiency, community engagement and motivational interviewing.

Community Environmental Hub Survey

Transition Edinburgh South is interested in setting up a community environmental hub that will provide detailed information and support on environmental issues such as home energy efficiency, food and gardening, waste reduction, greener, safer transport and saving water in our local area.Read more

The fair combined practical information on how to be more energy efficient with case studies and talks on energy efficiency. Read more

Our Energy Fair on 5th September at South Morningside Primary School attracted more than a hundredRobin Harper with Pat Abel and Michele HipwellRobin Harper with Pat Abel and Michele Hipwell local residents through the door. Nigel Griffiths, MP, Robin Harper MSP and Mark Lazarowicz, MSP  opened the fair It was a lively affair with a local jazz band playing over lunch time, childrens events and lots of advice on how to reduce our energy and on the existing renewables that will take us forward.
