PLease check back here for more info closer to the date. Start time may also vary. Venue: David Hume Tower 4.01 George Square Edinburgh EH8 9JX (Wheelchair access by lift) The SEED group is a Sustainable Economy Learning Group set up in collaboration with Transition Edinburgh South and the Adult Learning Project in Tollcross (http://www.tollcross.edin.org/alp/). The members are local residents, made up of a diverse range of people from professional backgrounds, retired pensioners to students and those with 'vulnerable' health or economic status. We have come together with the wish to learn more about our current economic situation and alternative models that exist in theory and practise. Each month, a small number of people from the group research a particular topic and present this to a public audience in an informal manner, as part of our learning process. We aim to bring our learning together after a 6 month learning and presentation phase to begin to implement something practically within our area.
