An update from the TES Food Gardens & Trees group

Since the Meadows Festival the group have been exploring possible avenues towards taking on some bigger gardening projects while keeping up the guerrilla gardening.

Balcarres St. allotment garden was looking like a jungle after the rain.  A great effort from the team that went down there last Saturday (and many Saturdays before) kept the weeds at bay.  The reward was a refreshing assortment of salad leaves and herbs.

On Sunday Sion and Olly took to the streets of South Edinburgh on their bikes in search of Fruit Trees and returned home full of raspberries and with a few more potential food hotspots to add to the map!

Those people wandering the streets of Marchmont, keep your eyes skimmed for Thea and Jay's beautiful tree stump gardens....
